Tentative Schedule of Events
Spanish Organ Music Seminar
Participants will leave from Paris on Tuesday, July 12th, and travel to San Sebastian (Donostia) in the Spanish Basque Country. An orientation session will include a brief tour of the old-town section of San Sebastian and an introduction to dining on tapas, a regional specialty.
There will be master classes at the organs of Santa Maria del Coro (San Sebastian) and Santa Maria la Real (Azkoitia). Plentiful playing time will be available to all!
This year SOMS participants will have the opportunity to perform in a recital in conjunction with the Fête International Aristide Cavaillé-Coll, celebrating the 200th birthday of the great organ builder.
Included in the price: air and bus travel to San Sebastian from Paris*, an air-conditioned hotel room, all breakfasts, and entry to all venues.
Instructors include: Gregory Hand, Estéban Landart, Jason Alden, Daniel Roth, and others.
