Finalists
Jeff Brummel
Jeff Brummel is a doctoral student in organ at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, Texas, studying with Yoon-Mi Lim, and is the organist at Wilshire Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas.
Susan DeKam
Susan DeKam is finishing her doctorate in organ at the University of Michigan and currently is Organist-in-Residence at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Dallas, Texas.
Brenda Portman
Brenda Portman graduated from Northwestern University with a masters degree in organ and is currently organist at First Presbyterian Church in Flint, Michigan.
Competition Awards
Each of the finalists will receive free attendance and hotel expenses for the entire Competition and for the British and French Organ Music Seminars (15 nights).
In addition:
The First Prize Winner: Will receive $1,200 (600 GBP)
and will be featured in a recital on June 28 at St.Paul's Cathedral
The Second Prize Winner: Will receive $700 (350 GBP)
The Third Prize Winner: Will receive $500 (250 GBP)
Competition Organs
The competition will take place on three Bank District organs:
St. Lawrence Jewry (3 manual Klais, 2001): For Romantic, Post-Romantic, and Contemporary music
St. Margaret Lothbury (2 manual George England, 1801) For Baroque and Classical music - short keyboard
St. Stephen Walbrook (3 manual William Hill: For Romantic music
